I first attended Len Goodman's School of Dance at the age of six. I trained and took exams at Goodman's for seven years. I went on to Performing Arts College for a further three years.
The dream was always to be on stage performing and dancing, but life's path changed for me and I had a family of my own.
Since then, with an amazing amount of support from family and friends, determination and hard work, I am now the very proud owner/partner of Dance Dynamique.
To teach and pass on my knowledge and to watch others gain self belief, confidence and achieve their personal goals is a wonderful experience.
My dancing started with ballet at 3 years old! I then spent nearly 14 years dancing at Footsteps doing ballet, jazz and tap. I performed at various local events and at their annual showcase. I also competed in the British Arts Awards, gaining numerous certificates and awards.
After attending University to study Business Management, I got married and started a family. After having my second child a friend invited me to attend a Street Dance class in 2010. The instructor was Kelly!
Kelly really reignited my love of dance; she encouraged me to teach alongside her as part of Dance Dynamique. The rest, as they say, is history!
Fitness through dancing really is the best of both worlds to me, and now to inspire others to dance their way fit has given me a career that I love and undertake with passion.
I started off at Dance Dynamique as a participant of Bokwa,Zumba and Street. I loved every class from day one; I couldn't believe it was possible to have so much fun exercising!
My love for Bokwa has grown so much that I have now done my Level 1 Certification and now teach children and adults.
As a mother of two I love watching my children copy my moves at home, it's fantastic! I've always loved dancing from an early age and have now been given the opportunity to further my passion for dance. To do this alongside Kelly, Sarah and Sophie is amazing.
Being part of Dance Dynamique has done wonders for my health, fitness and self esteem. Plus I've met so many fantastic people along the way.
I started dancing when I was in school, but decided that I was more of a vocalist which took me on another path.
I've always love dancing and fitness so began with martial arts; kick boxing, karate and iaido and then moved onto weights and cardio at my local gym.
At that time Kelly encouraged me to come along to her classes which were Zumba, Bokwa and Street dance. I was so excited to be able to dance again and keep fit with a class of lovely people who felt the same. Kelly and Sarah inspired me to become a Bokwa instructor and now I teach for them which is great!
Its the career i’ve always wanted and I cant wait to meet new people and share the Bokwa Buzz!!!
